The Prodir QS range of pens, with their innovative textured designs, have just been launched in a NEW stone material. This makes the QS pens heavy in your hand but lighter on the planet – as the mineral-enriched material adds 50% more weight whilst using 60% less plastic.

FOUR DESIGNS CONVEY THE TEXTURE OF YOUR INDUSTRY

The Prodir QS textured pen range was launched in 2016, and we don’t know of anything else quite like it. The pens come in four patterns which are perfect for specific industries.

The QS range was originally made from plastic and since September, these pens are available in a NEW stone material. More on that shortly, but first, a quick tour of the four designs.

1. The diamond-patterned pen for jewellers and high-end retailers

The QS01 has a diamond pattern and is perfect for jewellers in particular, but also a whole range of high-end retailers who want to convey a sense of quality.

1. The geometric pen for technical industries

The QS20, with its geometric texture, is ideal for technical and IT companies. It evokes images of technical complexity, mathematical formulas, algorithms, and all the other cool tech stuff.

1. The working tool pen for manufacturing industries

The design of QS30 is reminiscent of a screwdriver, which makes it ideal for the manufacturing sector – engineering, plumbing, and other related areas.

These three designs are all available both in plastic and the new stone material.

1. The tyre pattern pen for the automotive industry

The QS03 pen casing has the texture of a tyre tread, making it perfect for the automotive industry and tyre manufacturers. This design is the only one not available in stone, as the texture would not be technically feasible in a hard material. Plus, it would no longer feel like a tyre!

All four designs are perfectly aligned with particular industries, but they are by no means exclusive to these industries. Many customers choose these pens simply because they love the look and feel of them, and because they are unique in the market.

The QS plastic pens are available in a wide range of colours, in both matte and soft finishes.

A NEW STONE MATERIAL OPENS UP NEW POSSIBILITIES

At the beginning of September, the QS stone range was launched. Three of the pen designs described above (diamond, geometric and working tool) are now also made with a mineral-enriched material.

We have been fans of the QS range since it was launched, but we think the stone material adds a whole new dimension. This is a clever, high-end design in either material, but the stone elevates the perception of quality. The stone QS pens also feel satisfyingly heavy, almost like metal pens.

Less is more when it comes to plastic

Prodir has always been a very environmentally conscious and responsible company, and all of their pens are designed with their ecological footprint in mind.

All Prodir pens are manufactured to a high quality, and all are refillable (with an exceptionally long writing life). This means you should never have to throw away a Prodir pen.

The stone material takes this a step further, as it means the QS range of pens can be manufactured using 60% less plastic.

The spec

The stone QS pens are available in a wide range of colours, including matte metallic finishes in gold, silver and bronze. They come with a metal clip, and a button in either metal or plastic.
